The Black Cat – the Track of Borkman and Peterson

Chapter 6 to 10

Salahadin tried to find the boat at Beirut, the Sudan, for finding Borkman, who is a Swedish. Slahadin thought to Borkman that he is a prime suspect who kills Mr. Pearson. Because the Sudan did not yet arrive at Beirut, he visited his friend, Fuad. After he and his friend with friend’s wife used several hours Salahadin and Faud went to the port at Beirut. They found Borkman after a few minutes who is getting out of the Sudan and then takes the taxi. A black car began to follow this taxi and also Faud’s car went to this black car. In the steep valley the taxi and black car was crashed by each other, and fell down to the cliff. Salahadin and Faud could meet dying Borkman and have the information from him where is the black cat. Salahadin used this information and found Peterson who is a prime murder at the Syria, the boat.

When I was reading The black cat at chapter 6 to 10, I think that this book is like The 39 steps by John Buchan which is remade to a movie by Alfred Hitchcock and a visual novel game by The Story Mechanics. They are similar with the plot and age of novel but different with the event place and character’s nationality of novel. Salahadin is not British, to be falsely accused of murderers, however he accidentally crashed a murder accident and found the murder without the aid of policeman, but the main character was helped from other supporters. In compare with The black cat and The 39 steps, Salahadin’s story has not some tensions, fear and detailed forecast description from the murder.
