Reading Journal : James Baldwin’s Fifth Avenue, Uptown

 

          The view of the color problem is different between the Southern white and Northerner. It is likes two sides of the same coin. The Southerners historically wanted to needed the Negroes as the loved people of the Eden. However, they wanted to cease the Negro without the love continuously. The Northerners never saws see Negroes and were not did not interested in them in their everyday life.

          When the Southern Whites and Northerners found the freedom, they had the different meaning as the national self-esteem. The Southerners had the thought about historically history and their in his own psyche. The Southerners needed the Negroes for the Eden except their nationality. The Northerner, however, found the meaning of freedom with Negroes. Because, they did not concentrate with the Eden; and they were looking just the human looking to them with the nationality.
